Creating a URL link for your recorded conference calls is quick and easy with FreeConferencing.com. This feature is great for sharing conference calls with those that missed it, would like to listen to it again or for simple recap. This URL link can be sent out via email, posted on your website, blog, Facebook and Twitter.
Using the FreeConferencing.com online web controls to record your conference call is easy. Once the conference is recorded, it is available via the playback number (provide upon registration and listed in your account), web playback (covered next week) and can be downloaded to your computer to use at your discretion. These options allow you to share the recording with those that may have missed the call or for recap.
FreeConferencing.com comes with a full suite of tools for hosting professional meetings. This week we are covering The Broadcaster and Record features. In this post you will learn more on how the Broadcaster allows you to play recorded audio files during live conferences using the In-Conference Broadcast window found on the right of the Conference View page. You may broadcast any previously recorded conference stored in your account and any .WAV or MP3 files. To play a file while hosting a call, make sure you are logged into your account. Open the Broadcaster window and click on the green play icon located to the left of recording file. As the recording or audio file is being played, use the tools located on the left hand side to pause, stop and resume. The Broadcaster window can also be minimized at anytime. Below are screen shots that show how to use the Broadcaster tool.
With just two weeks away, we are gearing up for the launch of StartMeeting.com at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas on March 26-29, 2012. At the Conference, prospective agents will be offered a free demo account, including both toll audio conferencing and a 50-seat screen-sharing license. Agents will have access to the commission and rate tables and can provision an account on the fly. There are 80 potential pricing combinations. (To get paid, of course, partners need to sign a partner agreement.) Agents will earn 25-35 percent commissions depending on the rates they choose to charge their customers. All provisioning is done online and commissions are tracked by codes assigned to individual agents for each of their retail rate models.
One of the added benefits to having a FreeConferencing account is the ability to control Conference Preferences. This feature allows you to change standard conference function, such as; entry and exit tones to be on or off when participants join the conference call, disconnect participants if the host is not present, and the caller count feature can be turned on or off. Keep in mind that Conference Preferences may not be set during a live conference call. Please login before your conference call begins and go to the Conference Preferences tab, set your preferred preferences and click Save.
